DAN HENDRICKSON, Kankakee County Clerk, announced today that early voters may cast a ballot for the Consolidated Election prior to April 1st. For the April Consolidated Election, early voting begins March 7th and will end March 31st. Grace period registration and voting is also available. Grace period registration and voting is for persons who failed to register or update their address prior to the close of registration. Persons wishing to register to vote must be 18 years old by Election Day, present two forms of identification one of which must have
their current address. Individuals who register or update their address through grace period registration must vote at that time.
Early and grace period voting will be conducted at the office of the County Clerk at 189 E. Court St., Kankakee.
Office dates and hours are:
Monday - Friday March 7 – March 31 8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
Additional Early and Grace Voting hours at this location are:
Saturday, March 22 8:30 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
Saturday, March 29 8:30 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
